With JioGroupTalk app, Android Jio subscribers will only be able to make group voice calls and not group video calls as the feature has not been made available as of now.
Reliance Jio has introduced the group voice calling feature for Android users. To enjoy group calling on their Jio number users will have to download a new app called the JioGroupTalk from the Google Play Store. The JioGroupTalk app will allow users to conference call up to a maximum of ten people at once. It will also provide a host of other features including add or remove participants, mute participants from a group call and real-time conference setup. With the app, users can make HD group voice calls for un-interrupted voice calling experience.
JioGroupTalk will work similar to WhatsApp group calling feature where users can add more than two participants for a conference call. They may mute a participant while talking to others simultaneously. Interestingly, the JioGroupTalk will also enable users to turn on the Lecture mode which will allow only one member to speak and others to listen. Jio users will also enjoy the ability to add non-Jio subscribers to their group voice calls.
How to group voice call in Jio
Jio has introduced the app on a trial mode only for Android devices which means not all the features will be available to the users as of now. But once the trail ends, the final version will soon be released. However, Android users can still use the app by downloading the JioGroupTalk app on their devices. Post downloading, users will have to sign in with their Jio contact number and enter the OTP for verification. After successful registration, users can enjoy HD group voice calling feature in Jio.
It should be noted that with the JioGroupTalk app, users will only be able to make group voice calls and not group video calls as the feature has not been made available as of now.
